아르바이트생 절반이상이 장기알바를 좋아하는 것으로 나타났다. 아르바이트생몬이 60대에서 10대알바생 2,501명을 표본으로 '알바생 근무여건 선호도'에 대해 설문조사를 진행했다. 조사결과 아르바이트생들은 8개월미만 일하는 '초단기아르바이트생'보다 9개월이상 근무하는 '초장기알바'를 더 선호한다고 답했다.

야간 아르바이트의 종류를 살펴보면 편의점(21.9%), 호프집 등 서빙(16.3%), 물류센터(12.6%), 생산직 아르바이트(8.2%), PC방(7.6%)이 상위 7위 안에 들었다. 이어 택배 상·하차(7.2%), 일반 가게케어 및 판매(5.7%), 커피 전문점(3.2%), 마트·유통점(2.2%), 사무직(1.6%) 등 순이었다.

조사 결과 아르바이트생 중 28.2%가 비교적 짧은 기간 근무하는 단기 알바를 선호한다고 답했다. 세부적으로 살펴보면 1주일 미만 근무를 선호한다는 답변은 17.9%였고, 원하는 시간 하루만 근무하는 △하루 아르바이트를 선호한다는 답변은 11.6%였다.
